Has been a busy couple of days for me, but I will be back tomorrow with a bit more.
Injury-wise, finally, some good news. Everyone except Gonzalo will be available for the match on Sunday against Betis. I have a feeling everyone will have to really bring their best game to the match. Betis were humiliated against Madrid this week, and traveling to Andalusia to take them on - like cornering an injured animal - will not be easy.
Pellegrini is apparently, according to rumors, considering rotations for the match, which could see Nihat, Javi Venta, and Cani back in the starting lineup. I would be interested in seeing Nihat up front, with Rossi behind him. I know they have similar styles, but they have not gotten a lot of opportunity to play together as of late. Llorente could use a break, as he has not been in top form since coming back from injury.
I will be very curious to see if Marcos Senna gets the start. His play has picked up as late, but Pellegrini has found a bit of magic playing essentially a 4-1-3-2. Now if we could only find the back of the net after all those beautiful passes....
