As Kenez was on top of quite a while ago, Marca and Goal.com were absurdly off for news organizations in reporting the earlier quarterfinal draw for the Copa del Rey. Admittedly, I bought into it, no questions asked.
But the real story is that the full draw will occur on December 1st, at 7am eastern time. At that time, they will put together the bracket for the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals.
The match schedule for these rounds puts the round of 16 on January 6th and 13th, the quarters on January 20th and 27th, and the semis on February 3rd and 10th.
Teams remaining:
Primera Division: Sevilla, Atlético de Madrid, Villarreal, Valencia, Deportivo de La Coruña, Getafe, Málaga, Mallorca, Racing de Santander and Osasuna.
Segunda A: Celta de Vigo, Hércules, Rayo Vallecano and Recreativo de Huelva.
Segunda B: Alcorcón.
