Apparently Everton made an offer to Villarreal for young American striker Jozy Altidore, but Villarreal turned it down. Everton is desperate for strikers, but Jozy won't be their guy. According to Marca, estimates on Jozy's value are up - to 7.3m euros. I can only imagine his value will continue to grow, but I do not see him getting a lot more playing time without injury this year.
