An update on a few more of Villarreal's players around the world today. Godin and Eguren's Uruguay were less successful today, held 0-0 by Ecuador. But, you can look at it as a positive for them individually, as they both play defensive roles.

Mati helped Chile in their romp over Columbia. Goal.com reported that "Villarreal midfielder Fernandez completed the rout in the 71st minute with a powerful long-range drive that got the better of Colombia goalkeeper Agustin Julio."

And here are Goal.com's rankings for our Spanish contingent:

Joan Capdevila 8 - Opened the scoring with an opportunistic effort and enjoyed making several forays up the left flank when required.

Marcos Senna 8 - A stunning strike capped a powerful performance in front of Spain's back four and his role is truly crucial to the team.

Santi Cazorla 7 - Was brought in to bring something different to the team, but he failed to shine and will need more games at this level.
