Escudero and Jonathan are really shining in preseason for their respective clubs. Both were named 'cracks' by AS in their most recent match reports. Escudero made an assist and showed "the kind of creative ability and skill that has not been seen in Vallodolid for some time" in Vallodolids 2-1 win over Ganta.
Jonathan was the focal point for the Racing attack and he scored 1 goal and "was a nightmare for the Olympiacos defense" in Racing's 3-2 win over the Greek outift. The young Spaniard has been Racing's best player in preseason.
