So with a large number of players out on loan, I think it's time to see how they are getting on in their respective seasons. But first a quick recap of where they all are :
- Robert Flores : River Plate (Arg)
- Jonathan : Racing Santander
- Marquitos : Real Sociedad
- Mathias Vidangossy : Everton (Chi)
- Marco Ruben : Recreativo
- Felipe Manoel : Huesca
- Damian Escudero : Real Vallodolid
- Leandro Sigali : Godoy Cruz
Robert Flores has been getting rave reviews in Argentina, with the absence of Ariel Ortega due to his continued battle with alcoholism, Flores has found himself in the starting XI in several preseason games. He is being described as a player who can take on Ortega's mantle. His passes are described as inch perfect and that he was the 'creative muse' of a River side that won 4-0. Good signs for Robert hopefully he can maintain that level.
Escudero has made three appearances in friendly games for Vallodolid and has notched up a goal and an assist. He has been playing in a left wing position and has received favourable reviews all round.
Jonathan has been in sparkling form for Racing in their tour of Germany. He bagged a double against Waldorf and he is putting himself in good stead with the manager ahead of a big season for the club.
No news from the other loanees as yet but you can be sure that I will keep you updated throughout the course of the season. The 3 boys seemed to have all started well, lets hope they continue doing so.
