Villarreal have agreed to travel to Scotland to play Motherwell, a club based in North Lanarkshire, on August 2, 2008. The match will be a tribute to Phil O'Donnell, the Motherwell captain who collapsed and died during a match against Dundee United at the end of 2007. At the match, the main stand of Fir Park will be named for O'Donnell, and money raised at the match will go into an educational trust for his children. Should be an interesting match, and a good cause!

EDIT: This BBC story is in contrast to other reports that have the match against Zaragoza scheduled for August 2. I tend to trust the BBC, so perhaps the match in Teruel will be moved.
