Villarreal is on record pace for number of season tickets to be sold. As of yesterday, the club is sitting at about 6,000, well above the 5,000 sold at the same time last year. At this pace, the club will successfully meet Roig's desire to have 22,000 season ticket holders. Tickets for all three competitions are on sale for as little as 135 euro - I am tempted to buy season tickets despite the fact I probably won't be able to make it to a single match this season.
Also, if you read this as soon as it is published, you will be reading it as Robert Flores is introduced as Villarreal's newest midfielder.
