Internationals : Marcos Senna, Joan Capdevila and Santi Cazorla were all involved in Spains 2-1 victory over Peru last night with Capdevila scoring the equaliser in the 90th minute.
Injuries : Mati Fernandez has been told by specialists to rest for 6 weeks due to a problem with his left hip. This means he will miss upcoming games for Chile and will possibly miss the beginning of Villarreals pre-season.
Transfers : According to AS Villarreal are supposedly very interested in teenage American striker Jozy Altidore. The New York Bulls player has had a very successful season and Villarreal are hoping to make a move for him when the MLS transfer window opens on June 15th.
Also Audax Italiano have been offered Mathias Vidangossy on loan again, they have yet to decide. The Chilean had failed to make any real impact but La Tercera expects Audax to take up their option.
