This is a couple of days old, but some interesting news nonetheless. Villarreal seems to have made an inquiry into Diego Valeri's status. Lanus' president said "[Llaneza] asked after Valeri's situation . . . he saw him play against Danubio and that is when the contact began."
Villarreal has also asked about Ezequiel Carbon, an Argentinian midfielder plying his trade in Austria for Red Bull Salzburg. Apparently Villarreal is up against Benfica in acquiring his services.
