Tomorrow's Betis Match

Sorry to not have gotten a preview of the Villarreal-Betis match coming up at 2pm eastern tomorrow. Things have been a bit crazy as I have finally started my new job, which now requires 1.5 hours on the train every day, and has cut back significantly on my sleep!

I will have more on the match before it begins tomorrow, and I am really looking forward to getting to see the squad again on GolTV. The 19 called up (as Kqql noted, one of whom will be dropped) are:

Goalkeepers: Diego Lopez and Viera
Defenders: Javi Venta, Angel, Gonzalo, Godin, Cygan, and Bruno
Midfielders: Eguren, Marcos Senna, Cazorla, Matias Fernandez, Cani, Pires and Ibagaza.
Forwards: Guille Franco, Llorente, Rossi, and Altidore.

Nihat, most unfortunately, is out again, for six weeks. With Rossi, Llorente, and Franco up front, and throwing in Mati and Ibagaza as withdrawn forward options, Villarreal should survive Champions League competition (especially (without getting hopes too high) in the upcoming back-to-back matches against AaB). But it is a real shame that he will not be able to lead the team. He has suffered a lot with injuries over the last two years, but when he is available, he has been lights out. Speedy recovery, Nihat.

Check back here for pre-match coverage, and I plan on getting a live-blog up for the match.
