Congratulations to Cordoba, who managed somehow to draw 1-1 with Las Palmas and go to the Primera, promoted on away goals.
Las Palmas led through a 48th minute goal from Apoño, and missed two fine chances to finish the game off with a second goal. In the second minute (of three added on) supporters invaded the pitch, and the referee called a halt to the proceedings.
The match began again seven minutes later, with some Las Palmas supporters on the running track around the pitch--their joy turned to sorrow when the islanders' defense fell apart and Ulises Davila prodded home a ball sitting practically on the goal-line, after Mario Barbosa had stopped it with his glove as he was falling away.
Congratulations to Cordoba, who were last in the Primera in 1971-72.
