My immediate reaction is I was not so impressed by any of the other candidates (unless Marcelino was indeed a serious one). Velázquez is highly regarded within Spain (has been compared in a good way to Andre Villas-Boas) and if he can win promotion next year, his name is going to be known many places.
He is of course younger than some of our players!
