After a crazy game and a great result, Villarreal is still not out of the danger. A win at the Mestalla will ensure safety irrespective of the results in the other games. All games will kick-off at 2100 Spain time (3pm EDT).
They say "you throw out the form book and the record" for the derbies. But I highly doubt it will be the case for this game. Valencia needs to points to secure the 3rd place. Villarreal is even more desperate to get out of relegation quagmire.
According to Whoscored.com in the last 6 games between these two teams, Villarreal has won twice, Valencia once and three games ended in a draw.
A draw wont do much good for the Submarine. Villarreal needs to go for the win and get out of jail for good.

Roberto Soldado will most likely not play for Valencia.Feghouli is suspended for getting sent-off against Malaga.
Villarreal - WDDDW. Unbeaten in the last 5 games. But that includes 3 draws
Valencia - LWLWL. 2 wins and 3 losses for Valencia.
Both teams come into this game after good wins. The last time these two met in January at El Madrigal, they played an entertaining 2-2 draw.
The biggest trouble for Villarreal in this game will be the movement of Jonas upfront and his link-up play with Piatti and Aduriz (assuming that Soldado cant go).
The 2nd big match-up issue for Villarreal will be handling Jordi Alba's runs on the left. While Mario has been very good at the RB position, Jordi Alba will be a completely different proposition.
Another problem for Villarreal is the absence of Senna. Ángel might get the start in the doble-pivot although I would like to see Borja Valero in that spot.
Marco Ruben and Hernan Perez will cause trouble to the Valencia backline and I fancy one of them to score, especially the former.
There is no doubt that Villarreal will go for it from the start. The upside to winning is very high and there isnt a lot of downside from the loss as they will still control their own destiny going into the last game.
