Juanto-Bordas is a nice combination of youth and experience up front.

Good control of the match for the Yellow Submarine.

Just as I say, good save on Deulofeu.

Good thing it wasn’t a second yellow for diving.

With short back passes. Maybe our goal kicks wouldn’t be so poor in the face of less pressure.

I like Llorente a lot; stepping up in Gullon’s absence.

Juanto almost scored an absolute golazo. Cleared off the line.

Fantastic work by striker and defender. Uf.

Thought the old man would get one. But a goal or two is coming for us.

Barca B playing a very high line, and doing so poorly. Way too many chances for the strikers in yellow, but our finishing continues to leave something to be desired.

Apparently Edu Ramos (19 y.o., from Malaga) and Juanto (Albacete) were prized prospects. Good to hear our youth system has reach and cachet.

We haven’t cleared the ball cleanly, but no chances for Barca either. Maybe that’s more to do with the opponent, as we saw last weekend at El Madrigal.

Kiko, you’re killing me. When Pere or Iniguez gets back, it’s time to move Truyols back into the middle.

54-46% possession. Barca started out with a lot of the ball, but we have taken the air out over the past 20 minutes. A good sign.

but we don’t have a goal to show for it. We’re playing a lot more quickly through the midfield and getting balls through to the strikers, Juanto in a particular had a good half.

Great setup from Manu, then J. Costa, but the shot was just awful. Ended up being a goal kick off Juanto.

Barrientos for Llorente. More attacking, but absolutely no slight on Llorente’s performance. Top drawer from him.

Stoned Kiko. Kick save, and a beauty.

Lucas turned it over in the midfield, and Kiko was in 1v1 just a second later. Ojo.

Lobato for Deulofeu. I don’t think Eusebio liked the Frenchman’s attitude today. Nor did I; he’s still rather childish, as is not surprising at age 17.

But our high line worked on a FK. Good call, linesman.

Would have been an indirect FK in the Barca box in 68’.

Second yellow for a foul on Rodri. Game-changer, that.

Tono for Manu. Why is Bordas still on the pitch? Gah.

Just barely escaped Lucas. Juanto is a real battler up there, despite his size.

Espinosa for Kiko. Not very impressed by the ex-Hercules 5MM buy.

Bartra’s shot deflected by Marino and cleared by Tono. Best chance of the match for the visitors. Great through ball which tricked our defense.

Coach, time to bring in fresh legs up front. We can still sneak a goal.

Then the rebound was saved by Marino. But the rebounder was offside. Incredible.

Pedro Vazquez for Juanto. Why, oh why.

Dongou for Rodri. A few minutes for the super-youngster.

Add Truyols and Bordas, if not more.

But we deal with it, more or less. Bordas still battling, at least.

Very similar to the ‘A’ team game, in fact. We were outplayed early, came on strong with a few chances (much clearer in this match), then were lucky to survive a late onslaught.
