News from France is that young defender Florian Lejeune has joined Villarreal, signing a four-year contract for €1 million. He's a member of the France under-20 side now playing so will take his medical after that.
If true, this is quite a coup, as both Manchester clubs, Tottenham Hotspur, Birmingham City, and Real Madrid have all been interested in him. He's been playing for the last two years with Ligue 2 Istres, plays mostly as a center back but can also play in midfield. He's 6'2" so offers some height as well as youth.
Expectation is he will slot in to the Villarreal B defense, where he'll join compatriot Dorian Dervite. Bienvenue, Florian!!
