Moment of silence at first match after the Japan earthquake; Villarreal travels to Hong Kong to play a fundraiser for earthquake relief immediately after the season ends(Photo by Manuel Queimadelos Alonso/Getty Images)
Ins and outs: VP Llaneza says "two or three signings" this summer and hopes to talk to Senna's agent next week. The agent, meanwhile, says Senna's preference is to remain at Villarreal but no talks have been held yet.
As for the two or three signings, Diamanti and Gameiro are mentioned in Marca; latest twitter rumor is Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse--box-to-box midfielder. €15 million would be a big purchase for us, that's the figure suggested.
Also as noted yesterday Levante seems to want to sign Jefferson Montero permanently and also likes Matilla, are willing to work out some sort of deal for Felipe Caicedo.
News that "Cani's linesman" (Fermin) isn't going to be part of Undiano's crew this week. Villarreal didn't protest Cani's yellow card since he's missing the Osasuna match (which is sold out!) through injury anyhow.
Europa League final is today (he says, brushing away a tear). Porto heavily favored, but it's hard to beat a team three times in a season.
And finally here's a tidbit about the match Villarreal is playing in Hong Kong. I hadn't realized it's a benefit for earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan. Yet another reason to display yellow pride!
