Sevilla, Barcelona, Real Madrid, & Diving

After watching parts of this Champions League Clasico, it is easy to see the point that many non-soccer fans make about diving in the sport.  Not to mention what happened over the weekend at Sevilla

I know Villarreal are occasionally guilty - Cani? Marchena? - but seriously, it is nothing like these teams are pulling.  Plus, players like Rossi and Santi fight through even hard tackles, looking not for a foul but for opportunity.

What makes this such a shame is the amount of quality that these sides have.  There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that the teams should stoop to this level of playacting to try and gain some slight advantage.  Simply put, they are cheating.  It is really getting to a bit of a disgusting level.  (And, for the record, Sevilla and Barcelona are much worse with the diving than Madrid).
