Great win for the A team. Cazorla made a huge impact-- now that he seems to be fit. And Godin is scoring striker-quality goals consistently now: what has gotten into him? Good to see the depth of our squad: Cazorla, Escudero, and Fuster were the 3 substitutes.

Great win for the B team as well. Playing with a man less for 85 minutes, due to the very strange sending-off of Catala, they avenged the A team's Copa del Rey exit with a double over the Galicians. Jefferson Montero was the difference, as always.

da altidore has potential, but still is long ways from being a very good player
needs 2 b humble & learn some basics, which he still lacks
i still say da vcf paid 2 much 4 him

da usa will go far if da donovan & howard do well.

There’s only two rounds of the Premier League left and Altidore is suspended for one of those any way. I would imagine that if a player goes out on a season long loan the recipient club would be responsible for paying his salary until 30 June.

A big weekend coming up.

Remember that the B team kick off the weekend on Friday evening in the televised match against Elche. (K.O. 21:00 CET). Shown on Gol TV here so don’t know whether that will be so in USA.

Then on Saturday the first team against Barca at 22:00 CET to be shown live and open on La Sexta.
