Villarreal Linked to Tuncay Sanli

According to the Northern Echo, a paper that is local to northern England, Villarreal are the most likely move for Middlesbrough winger Tuncay Sanli. The Turkish captain has played for Middlesbrough since 2007, and with the club's relegation this past year, seems certain to move on. According to the paper, Tuncay's goal is to stay in the Premier League, but it is not clear that the options are there for him. The current price tag is in the £8m range.

Regarding some discussion on a previous thread about how freely players could move between teams the rules are apparently this:

Any player from the B team can be called up to the A team, however after a certain number of games with the A team the player can’t go back to the B team anymore (unfortunately I cannot ascertain what this magical number is). What is not allowed is for a player from the A team to play on the B team.

Interesting.

His Salary shouldn’t be a problem..but his transfer fee is high….

Sanli salary is approx 3.2m euros in england….w/ his net @ 1.6m euros
@ Villarreal he got make the same net income by getting paid appriox 2.1m euros……..

I belief highest salary @ Villarreal is approx 2.3-2.5m Euros….
