Jozy on Loan
Sorry it took so long to put up a post on it, but for all those who have not heard, Jozy is out on loan to Xerez for the rest of the season. It could be a perfect opportunity for him. He would not have gotten much playing time with Villarreal, especially if Nihat ever gets healthy. He will be joining up with the first-place team in la Segunda, which means he will be with quality players. This could also improve his standing with the US national team.

Could turn out to be quite beneficial for him, it was important that he stayed in Spain. His power and pace could cause a lot of problems in Segunda.

no way. If Jozy is going to be good in Spain, where skill and touch are of highest importance, going to a league where power and speed dominate will not help him. He needs to learn the Spanish style, which i think Xerez will be perfect for. He should also get a lot more playing time at Xerez – which is perhaps the most important thing – than he would in the Premiership. Not to mention, he has the opportunity there to win a championship – and then bring that winning attitude to the squad. Finally, when someone goes on loan outside of the country, it becomes much more likely that they will end up transferring out, and I want him to stick around. Sorry for the random string of thoughts, but all of that was bouncing around in my head…

everton is not a technical team and won’t make him a better player is spain. If he had gone to Arsenal maybe (assuming he’d play there).
