How Things Change
Things are often different when you wake up in the morning, but these are some pretty big changes. Edmilson is on his way to Palmeiras, a deal having been completed despite Llaneza saying that he was not ready to sell any players. Perhaps we will be in a better position now to bring in Ramires.
Also, the injury list is not nearly as kind as it was yesterday. Ibagaza and Cani are both questionable for next week, as noted by Kenez. Gonzalo is questionable for the weekend (uh-oh). Angel trained on the sidelines yesterday. That is a lot of injuries, especially considering the fact that Edmilson is gone and Godin is suspended.

Whilst a deal between the two clubs has been agreed Edmilson appears to be dragging his feet. He was reported today as saying he did not want to return to Brasil. Perhaps Portsmouth might suit?

Seems to say that the signing went through, and Edmilson will sign in time to play in the Copa Libertadores.

Villarreal have now officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Edmilson to rescind his contract. He leaves for Brasil today in order to undergo a medical and complete his signing for Palmeiras.
