A Little Christmas Break
Something I had not thought of: How is YOUR team going to face the worldwide economic downturn? One thing you can be sure of - Villarreal is in good hands when it comes to money management.
--
Well, I am heading on a short trip for the Christmas break - seven days off work! Unless something major happens, I will not be back to update the site until Monday. So, if anything is going on, rumors swirling or whatnot, feel free to post them here. And Merry Christmas everybody!

Looks like Senna is interested in Man.C and Villarreal will consider the move for the right $/€
Senna ‘Interested’ In Man City’s ‘Big Project’
“I have heard about the big project at City and I’m flattered by their interest. The Premier League is a big league and I am interested in the challenge,” the 32-year-old Spain international revealed today.
“We have received no formal offers but in football nothing is impossible. ’If we get a big offer we would consider it,” commented Llanez.

P.S If I was Villarreal , I would sell Senna for the right $$$ and buy a World Class CD.
Bruno has done well and I think Senna has peaked..

I definitely would be ready to see Senna move on for the right price. Anybody looking to sell to Man City right now can ask for busloads of money, and Senna has shown over the past few years that he is an amazing midfielder, in fact, at times, one of the best in the world, but at many times that he gets tired and loses a step for long periods at a time. I really believe that a lot of our current form has had to do with his play – he has been slow, and the real problem we have had is being unable to control possession, and not having enough marking back from the midfield. Bruno is about ready to take over a starting role. And we have a number of playmaking midfielders waiting int he wings to come in next year. Just some quick thoughts…
